KIDS LOVE TEEPEES, Playhouse or just a Hideout for fun

    I was looking for a safe product which would encourage that "old time" type of play for my children.   I purchased a more unisex color teepee for my 10 yr old daughter and 6yr old son to play with for Christmas, and I couldn't be more pleased.   I was surprised to discover just how well it's made - sanded wood with no sharp corners;  strong, quality fabric that will hold up to my little tikes; and I don't have to worry about it falling on them if they pushed into it as it is quite sturdy.  The bonus that I didn't expect was that my kids play with it year-round!  

      Being from Wisconson, I thought that it would provide somthing to do during the winter or for one of their sleepovers.   What I didn't expect is that they take it outside in the yard to hide from the summer sun - and (sometimes) from me!    I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a good old-fashioned toy that will grow with their children through the years.

   Imagine my surprise when shortly before Christmas, I received a wood and fabric teepee from one of my Kindergarten students!  Her mom makes them, and asked me if I would like one for my classroom, they thought that it would make a great classroom gift.  They were right!  My students love having a turn inside as they read books with a friend or two.  It was a colorful addition to our classroom and remains a favorite "quiet spot" to read.  What a great gift!

I have known Deb at Kids loveteepees long enough to know well made and quality filled work when I see it. We met thru dogs and hope to cement a firm base in excellance in breeding and showing Miniature Black Poodles. I am seriously thinking of purchasing a TeePee for my dogs, as they love their tunnels, and swim pool, why not a teepee also.  I groom, Deb sews, paints, creates beautiful work, and if time allows I hope to teach her what the last 35 years in dogs has taught me, so she will be able to apply the same excellance with some of my line and pedigree, for the future.

We love our teepee.  We use it constantly, sometimes you even find my 12 year old in it (don't tell his friends).  The first night we had it we had an indoor camp out it fits on a queen size bed.  My daughter and her friends love to play in it both inside and outside.  I love it because its easy set up and take down, plus it fits behind a door when its not in use.  However, at our house it is hardly ever behind a door because we use it so much.  Its a great toy and I love the imagination it sparks the kids.
